John Carroll University was proud to house the Northeast Ohio Broadcast Archives (NEOBA) from 1987 until 2023. Due to a variety of factors, the University is no longer positioned to house the archives. In collaboration with the Cleveland Public Library (CPL), WKYC and WEWS, a decision was made to transition the archives to the CPL, who has agreed to be their temporary custodian. Therefore, the archives are now housed at CPL. The Library has also committed to convening key stakeholders to facilitate the development of a permanent, sustainable plan for this tremendous repository. Currently, CPL has no means to provide public access to the archives, except in limited cases where digital content exists. Please forward any inquiries regarding the archives to Michael Ruffing at Michael.Ruffing@cpl.org. Thank you for your cooperation.
