What resources do you have to help teach my students how to research?

Answer

We recently added two Information Literacy Tutorial Modules to our collections. These Modules give step by step support to faculty to ensure that their students understand the process of research. Using a combination of video tutorials and interactive tutorials, you can embed modules into your course page to support student learning. Students will learn critical thinking skills, how to identify credible sources, how to properly cite sources, and more.

Due to staffing changes and limits to the four librarians serving the entire campus, we are adjusting the coverage of Library Instruction and research support. Please use this form to request a library instruction session with a librarian: https://bit.ly/jculibinstruction. Otherwise, please utilize our new suite of InfoLit course modules. InfoLit - Core is more general, while InfoLit - Health Sciences focuses more deeply on research in the sciences.
